Construction Laborers

Felix Construction is seeking entry level and experienced heavy construction laborers to work in the water/wastewater construction industry. The job involves general labor tasks such as digging trenches, finishing concrete, putting pipe together and helping to install equipment. Requires heavy construction labor experience. All candidates must have a great attitude. Work is new build or upgrades to existing facilities. Responsibilities ? Perform various physical activities such as digging, hammering or putting pipe together ? Use hand and power tools ? Install underground pipe ? Help support work of concrete finishers, carpenters, process pipe workers and electricians ? Follow strict job site safety requirements ? Ability to work outdoors on construction job sites in extreme temperatures required ? Ability to follow verbal or written instructions required ? Regular, timely attendance is required for this position Qualifications ? Experience using hand tools and power tools required ? Ability to work outdoors on construction job sites required ? Ability to follow verbal or written instructions required ? High school diploma or equivalent preferred Work Environment and Physical Demands: This position requires working on construction job sites in extreme temperatures. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and may occasionally use hand tools associated with the construction industry. Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust and focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for long periods, climb on and off equipment, walk, kneel, bend, reach with hands and arms, hear, and talk.
