Correctional Medicine Nurse Practitioner
An advanced practice nurse in Correctional Medicine is responsible for all provisions of care provided to inmates at the local county Jail and Prison facilities, at the discretion of the Medical Director. Works to maintain relationship between the County and Hospital, and manage day to day workflows of the clinic. Helps to ensure medical needs of the inmates are met according to ethical standards, and that costs to County are likewise controlled and minimized. Experience Preferred ? Minimum of at least 3 years of acute care bedside experience in a critical care or urgent care setting preferred Education Required ? Masters or better in Nursing Preferred ? Bachelors or better in Physician Assistant Licenses & Certifications Required ? Nurse Practitioner Preferred ? Registered Nurse Behaviors Preferred ? Team Player: Works well as a member of a group ?
