About the position The position involves operating company vehicles to ensure the timely and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. The role requires adherence to FedEx service standards and includes providing customer service functions related to the delivery process. The candidate will be responsible for covering assigned routes and performing additional duties as needed. Responsibilities ? Operate company vehicles for package delivery and pick-up. , ? Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features. , ? Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the service area. , ? Perform related customer service functions. , ? Complete other duties as assigned. Requirements ? High school diploma or GED required. , ? Six months of courier experience preferred. , ? Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance or equipment. , ? Good human relations and verbal communication skills. , ? Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred. , ? Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Nice-to-haves ?
