About the position The Meat Market Manager is responsible for overseeing the meat department operations, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and managing a team to achieve sales goals. This role requires strong leadership skills and knowledge of meat processing equipment, as well as the ability to work in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities ? Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards mandated by state, federal, and OSHA regulations. , ? Manage and supervise cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving results. , ? Unload trucks of groceries and process bulk meats into appropriate portions for various food recipes. , ? Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure it's in good working condition. Requirements ? Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including managing/supervising cross-functional teams. , ? Ability to work well with others. , ? Knowledge as a Qualified journeyman meat cutter preferred. , ? Experience in a high-volume environment selling up to $100,000 in products weekly.
