Collect and process biological specimens ensuring correct patient and specimen identification. , ? Enter and verify patient demographics and specimen information into the computer system. , ? Maintain quality assurance by ensuring accuracy and completeness of work performed. , ? Participate in departmental financial responsibilities and cost reduction initiatives. , ? Communicate courteously and professionally with internal and external customers. , ? Understand and uphold patient rights and privacy (HIPAA). Requirements ? Minimum age requirement of 18. , ? High School diploma or equivalent may be required based on state regulations. , ? Completion of a phlebotomy program or relevant phlebotomy experience. , ? Possession of a valid state driver's license and eligibility for company auto insurance coverage. , ? Ability to obtain DHS Fingerprinting Certification if required. Nice-to-haves ?
