REGISTERED NURSE ? PACU

Responsibilities: A Registered Professional Nurse responsible for delivery of patient (direct and indirect) through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing. Experience: At least 2 years critical care or PACU nursing Licenses/Certificates: Licensed and currently registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Valid Healthcare Provider CPR certification required and continuous recertification. Successful completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and continuous recertification every two (2) years Successful completion of dysrhythmia course within six (6) months of hire Certification of Peri-Anesthesia (CPAN) nursing preferred Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six (6) months of hire and continuous recertification is required.
