This role is based out of our New York City Headquarters, is a hybrid position and will be reporting to the Controller. Why join us? Responsibilities ? Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement, and P&L. ? Prepare period-ending (monthly/quarterly) journal entries and accruals with supporting reconciliations ? Performs analytical review fluxes including researching variances between actuals? vs budget ? Perform monthly reconciliations ? Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation and posting of journal entries and accruals. ? Support the audit process, working closely with internal and external auditors. ? Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing. ? Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations. ? Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. ? Assist with system ERP improvements and maintenance to become an expert in the ERP system assisting and training others ? Conduct frequent ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed To be considered for the Senior Accountant position, you must have ? A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or MBA is strongly preferred. ? Prior Audit Experience. Big 4 a plus, but not necessary ? At least 1 full year as Corporate Senior Accountant ? Experience with ERP systems.
