About the position As a Claims Service Specialist at GEICO's Fredericksburg, VA office, you will play a crucial role in assisting our policyholders during one of the most stressful times in their lives—after an accident. This position is designed for individuals who are motivated, solution-oriented, and empathetic to customer needs. You will undergo a comprehensive training program that lasts between 6 to 9 months, during which you will learn the intricacies of the claims process. This training is conducted 100% in-office, ensuring that you receive hands-on experience and support from seasoned professionals. Once training is complete, you will transition to a hybrid work model, spending four days a week in the office and one day working from home. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting facts about accidents, investigating claim details, and gathering statements from all parties involved. Your attention to detail, patience, and supportive nature will be essential in helping our policyholders navigate the claims process and get back on the road as quickly as possible.
