Description:
- Major League Hacking is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Part-Time Social Media Coordinator to manage our online presence.
- Responsible for scheduling and curating content, monitoring social media trends, and interacting with our online community.
- Organize and manage MLH’s decentralized content creation schedule and create engaging content for social media platforms.
- Assist in the development of social media strategies to achieve marketing goals and monitor analytics for performance optimization.
- Create basic graphic design for social media posts and collaborate with team members for consistent messaging.
Requirements:
- Experience managing social media accounts and driving engagement/metrics.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences, including best practices for driving engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization.
- Passion for Education Technology and Community Management.
- Proficiency in creating engaging content (text, images, videos).
- Basic graphic design skills (Figma or similar).
