As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled QuickBooks Online Bookkeeping Manager to lead our remote bookkeeping function. Position Overview As the Bookkeeping Manager, you will oversee the bookkeeping operations within our firm, manage a team of remote bookkeepers, and act as a trusted point of contact for clients. You’ll ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across all client accounts and help drive process improvement and scalability as we expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for multiple clients across various industries
• Supervise, support, and review work from a team of remote bookkeepers
• Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Serve as the lead point of contact for client bookkeeping inquiries and needs
• Ensure timely and accurate categorization of transactions, bank/credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll entries
• Support CPAs and tax professionals with clean, year-end books and documentation
• Standardize and improve internal workflows and client onboarding processes
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new bookkeeping team members
• Stay up to date with best practices in bookkeeping and QBO features

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably within a CPA firm
• 2+ years of experience managing or supervising bookkeeping staff
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO certification preferred)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and small business accounting fundamentals
• Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with high attention to detail
• Experience with tools like ADP, Bill.com, Karbon, a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits:
