Job title: Education Sales Consultant - Mandarin Speaking (Remote) in Boston, MA at Crimson Education Company: Crimson Education Job description: Our VisionBuilding the World’s Leaders of Tomorrow.Our MissionCreating the Education system for the 22nd Century.What this role is responsible for:This role is responsible for sales consultation with Chinese-speaking leads in the US market to convert them to Crimson clients, and maintaining good relationships with clients and partners to generate referral and upsell opportunities.What success looks likeSalesAchieving agreed upon monthly sales targets and outcomesIdentifying and interacting with new leads/customersConducting sales consultations and academic assessments in a professional manner and that aligns with the Crimson brand and culture.Presenting, promoting and pitching Crimson products as per the company sales process to prospective customersEstablishing, developing and maintaining positive and professional customer interactions and relationshipsConsistent and timely onboarding of new clients to the Education Coordination team as per Crimson’s new client onboarding processContacting existing clients to inform and upsell them on new developments within Crimson’s product offering.Expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfactionContinuously improving sales techniques and enhancing industry knowledgeBusiness Development & Lead Generation (when required)Working with the Local Area and Digital Marketing Teams to develop/enhance lead generation methods by identifying opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in leads and salesEngaging in outreach activities such as presenting at school talks, careers expos and Crimson seminarsSourcing potential organizations and markets for lead generation/partnershipsAttending industry events where relevant and provide feedback and information on market trendsSales AdministrationEnsuring that data is diligently and accurately entered/managed within Crimson’s Client Relations Management (CRM) systemParticipating weekly sales team meetings and reports in an accurate and concise mannerHelping in training of new sales personnel wherever relevantMaintaining effective communication with the Accounts team to ensure timely payment of accountsEducating the global sales and marketing team on local market nuances in the education spaceProviding feedback and suggestions on how to improve sales processesProducing reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and servicesExperience that would be useful in this role:

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English
  • Understanding of the US/UK Undergrad application process
