HubSpot Configuration & Workflow Specialist

(Freelance, Part-Time, Contract – 8-10 hrs/week)

Must be client-facing and available during regular business hours in Central Time (CT) and Atlantic Time (AT) to meet with clients.

About the Role

Main Event Digital is looking for an experienced HubSpot Configuration & Workflow Specialist to help one of our clients automate their sales, marketing, and operations processes. This is a freelance, part-time contract role (8-10 hours per week, no agencies) for a HubSpot expert who can dive right in, answer client questions, and build customized workflows to streamline their business operations.

This role requires direct interaction with the client, so you must be available during business hours in Central Time (CT) and Atlantic Time (AT) to participate in client meetings.

Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing Automation: Design and implement HubSpot workflows for sales and marketing processes.

Operational Workflow Optimization: Map and refine operational workflows to maximize automation within HubSpot.

Process Mapping: Analyze and document existing sales and operations workflows using flowcharts to identify automation opportunities.

Integration Management: Ensure smooth functionality between HubSpot and third-party tools, including Quoteworks (quoting software).

Automated Email Sequences: Set up automated follow-ups for quoted deals to improve conversion rates.

HubSpot Consultation: Provide expert guidance on best practices, capabilities, and optimization strategies.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience with HubSpot configuration, automation, and workflow design.

Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and operational workflows.

Ability to map out business processes and suggest automation improvements.

Experience integrating third-party tools with HubSpot (e.g., Quoteworks).

Must be client-facing—comfortable working directly with clients, answering questions, and providing expert recommendations.

Must be available during regular business hours in Central Time (CT) and Atlantic Time (AT) to meet with clients.

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and provide clear recommendations.

Excellent communication skills—comfortable answering a high volume of client questions about HubSpot's capabilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience with email automation and lead nurturing campaigns.

Background in business process automation and CRM optimization.

Knowledge of HubSpot reporting and analytics.

Contract Details

Part-time, freelance contract role (8-10 hours per week) (no agencies).

Fully remote with flexible hours, but must be available during business hours in Central Time (CT) and Atlantic Time (AT) for client meetings.
