• Rehires can be a Non cdl driver if you come in as a mover your first year driving our 26” trucks.
• Interstate Moving is seeking college students interested in earning extra money while you are home for the summer. Our summer employees receive PAID training to ensure you success and teach you a skilled trade. And, if you decide to stay past the summer, know that Interstate has a long tradition of offering permanent positions to students after graduation both in Logistics and Corporate. Rehires have the option to apply to office positions if you are interested when you return.

SUMMARY As a Commercial mover for Logistics, you will be responsible for Loading and unloading vehicles containing household goods, office furniture or other goods in a safe and careful manner. Moves consist of Military, Corporate & Government customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Possesses the ability to lift properly and safely, pack, load and unload vehicles as required.
• Writes complete and accurate inventory of household contents, office furniture or other goods when required.
• Assists in the inspection of the truck assigned for noted damages, flat or worn tires, fluid levels and travel worthiness.
• Assists in the preparation of vehicles before leaving the warehouse to assure that all materials are placed on the vehicle and that any defects are noted.
• Assists, when necessary, in any operation of the warehouse.
• Assists in any capacity as directed by the crew leader on the assigned job.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to pass a drug test and background Check
• Must be at least 18 years old

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
