Hi, Our client is looking for a IDMS System DBA Mainframe (System programmer ) with a Long-Term Contract projectin Remote below is the detailed requirement... Job Title: IDMS System DBA Mainframe (System programmer ) Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Job description: • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience • Must be an IDMS System DBA • You should Install, Upgrade, Function level upgrade and RSU maintenance on IDMS. • Good Experience in Installing, maintaining and supporting ISV Software products. • You should Providing all aspects of System database administration in the production and all development/ test environments, including the migration of IDMS version • Must be Providing support 24x7 for all Priority Level 1 and 2 Incidents or problems related to database problems between database vendors and the database systems. • You should have Added value services to reduce the Total Cost in z/OS CPU • Good Experience in Performance tuning projects • Must be Coordinating training across all competencies in Managed service • As Project Manager & Technical solution architect for major upgrades such as IDMS Version Migration, Decommissioning Projects, ISV Tools upgrades etc. • Provide support on System Programming Activities • Strong Experience in IDMS on z/OS administration. • IDMS database design and database alteration and Migration. • DASD/Tape management. • Capacity Planning. • Experience in Performance Tuning.. • Strong Knowledge on IDMS Utilities. • Strong Knowledge of Troubleshooting skills on IDMS administration. • Proactive monitoring in space usage and troubleshooting space management. • Security Management • Exposure in Disaster Recovery. • 7x24 support experience in a large production environment. • Space Management • Experience in IDMS Tools (CA, BMC, Omegamon,..) • Should have worked in a SLA driven environment. • Knowledge on REXX, CLIST. • Experience in SQL Fine tuning, query optimization Remote About the Company: Lorven technologies Apply Job!
