Client is looking for a Data Analyst (Min 1-2 yrs exp) (100% REMOTE) (Local Candidates highly preferred) (Webcam interview) POSITION DESCRIPTION... DIRECT CLIENT Position Number of positions: 2 (TWO) Length: 2 Years + Work Address: 100% REMOTE / Indianapolis, IN 46204 Immediate interviews Webcam interviews ONLY Please note that this position is 100% REMOTE. The role will include exploratory data analysis, reporting, descriptive statistics, dataset curation, and data visualization. The Data Analyst wrangles validates and analyzes a variety of data sources. The incumbent will produce reports and support data-related activities for the several divisions. In addition, this role will assist with curation and analysis of various other datasets and assist teams with integrating new data and information into existing and new reports. Job Duties • Serves as project lead/subject matter expert for specific data sources, as assigned • Reviews and provides feedback on the work products of other analysts • Responsible for transferring raw data to the appropriate location for use in data analysis projects • Wrangles, cleans, and validates data sources with minimal guidance • Conducts general analysis of agency datasets; serves as project lead, as assigned. • Contributes to complex analysis of agency datasets, as requested • Conducts data quality checks to ensure the validity and cleanliness of datasets prior to their use in analysis and reporting • Oversee and review projects completed by associate analysts, as requested by senior analyst • Interprets data and from multiple sources using a variety of analytical techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation, to data mining, to more complex statistical methodologies • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop novel ways of using and reporting out data. • Provide technical assistance to program areas for the creation of reports and grant deliverables Candidates must have ALL the "Required" skills in order to be considered for the position. "Desired" or "Highly Desired" skills are a PLUS but may NOT be required. Skill Matrix Experience with Business workflow processes Required / Desired Amount of Experience Experience analyzing data and reporting relevant results in a professional nonacademic setting. Required 1 Years Experience using SAS and/or R for data analysis and reporting.
