Marketplaces Leader We are seeking a motivated Marketplaces Leader for our portfolio of health and wellness product based companies. Opportunity to make an impact across a few brands in growth mode... Remote About the Role The Marketplaces Leader will develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies and associated action plans for Amazon (and other marketplaces including Walmart and Target) that drive growth for our portfolio companies. You will oversee the online presence for our health and wellness focused CPG companies, ensuring they remain competitive and profitable and symbiotic with our other channels including DTC and retail. You will partner with marketing teams to activate GTM strategy to improve consumer connection, elevate the brand experience, and drive growth in the channel. Responsibilities · Day to day management of marketplaces, including but not limited to sales analysis and reporting, pricing, and inventory management. · Lead end-to-end ad campaign management, including goal setting, budget allocation, targeting and search strategy, ideation, execution and measurement. · Agency sourcing and management. · Lead weekly and monthly reporting, insights, and analysis on business performance, opportunities, and risks. · Develop and complete promotional strategy during key consumer selling periods. · Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve ROI targets. · Audit existing content and identify gaps in content assets; work with creative team to develop on-brand, best in class content that’s tailored to its respective marketplace audience, including landing pages, 3D Imagery, A+ content and more. · Resolve product listings issues, identify and rectify recycled UPC problems, leveraging advanced tools like Jungle Scout, Helium10 & Power BI to foster revenue growth and elevate average order value/sales, while closely analyzing errors logs and data. · Spearhead the setup and monitoring of FBA, AWD, WFS shipments, ensuring punctual delivery, identifying low-stock products needing replenishment, and optimizing inventory management practices, full integration of universal products and Seller Fulfilled Prime. · Monitor performance against key metrics and provide recommendations on how best to improve and optimize. · Proactively seek growth opportunities to accelerate revenue, grow market share, improve search rank, drive organic traffic, and increase conversion. · Provide regular Marketplace performance “health check” updates, rationale-based recommendations and/or course corrections to Executive Leadership Team. Requirements · Bachelor’s degree, marketing and digital advanced degrees preferred · 5+ years of Amazon (1P+ 3P) and other e-commerce marketplace (walmart.com, target.com, etc) management experience · Self-starter and growth hacker – you like to get into the weeds and execute as well as think big and create blue ocean strategies · Passion for and experience within the CPG industry · A proven track record of driving sales growth and improving marketplace performance · A strong understanding of marketplace algorithms, SEO, and digital marketing strategies · Experience with revenue and advertising forecasting and P&L management experience · Strong financial, merchandising, and planning analysis skills · Deep understanding of requirements, restrictions, and standard processes for successfully selling on marketplaces · Proficiency in using marketplace management tools and software · Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; Fluency with excel and dashboarding tools · Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment · Strong written and verbal communication skills including building and presenting business strategy, analysis, and insights Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States.
