Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative/business-oriented field, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in business operations, consulting, or a similar role within internet, media, or advertising industries. 4 years of experience in program management. 2 years of people management experience. Preferred Qualifications: Program management certification, or experience in program management with an IT or Tech company. 4 years of people management experience. Experience in setting and executing on vendor strategies, including managing third-party vendors to drive execution against set service level agreements. Solid analytical and problem-solving experience, combined with business acumen, including ability to analyze data and present insights in a clear and compelling manner. Ability to identify and implement complex processes and manage large, complex, strategic and operational initiatives across multiple teams and regions. Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and presentation skills. About the job The Mastery Team develops and delivers product and skills training to Google Sales and Services teams, as well as external client and agency partners. Our team is made up of passionate learning professionals, sales and marketing leaders, and former consultants and analysts who launch and iterate learning programs while balancing key pillars of knowledge, skill, and disciplined practice to help our audiences thrive in a world of increasing complexity. The Business Operations team is responsible for driving day-to-day operations, creating and enhancing processes and governance, and building systems and tools that operationalize Mastery's business strategy. The team provides thought leadership and consulting support to define Mastery's overall strategy and empowers the leadership team to make business critical decisions. As the Program Management Office (PMO) Lead, you will lead a team to drive and enable effective governance, transparency and reporting across Mastery's core workflow, including landing and activating capacity based prioritization and decision making. You will be a critical thought leader and catalyst for improving day-to-day operations and driving change management. You will lead day-to-day tech operations and vendor management across the organization, collaborate with the leadership team to streamline internal processes, ensure cross-functional alignment of foals and execution and ultimately improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. You will manage, track, and report on Mastery's entire portfolio of learning programs. Responsibilities Provide strategic guidance and program management throughout planning and implementation phases across Mastery's core production and activation workflow. Track and report on operational key performance indicators, and surface key go/no-go decisions to the leadership team to enable decision making based on capacity and predetermined evaluation criteria. Be accountable for core production related tech operations, including offshore Learning and Development Tech Analysts, vendor work intake, inflow, and execution. Define (in partnership with other Mastery teams) and implement Mastery vendor strategy, including needs analysis, sourcing/pilots, measurement, risk management and delivery against service level agreements. Build and lead Mastery's program management office (PMO), including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and day-to-day management of resources.
