We are actively seeking seasoned Legal/Judicial contract professionals who possess extensive experience in transcribing depositions and hearings. This position is a fully remote opportunity for Independent Contractors, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities • Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings from audio recordings. • Maintain strict adherence to style guides to produce verbatim transcripts. • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transcription. • Collaborate effectively with our supportive team, available for guidance as needed. Required Skills • Proven experience in legal transcription, court reporting, or scoping is essential. • Exceptional listening abilities and profound understanding of legal terminology. • Strong command of grammar, spelling, and literacy skills. • Typing proficiency, demonstrating both speed and accuracy. • Ability to work independently while fulfilling deadlines and adhering to client-specific style guides. • Familiarity with processing sensitive audio/text content (may be offensive).
