Job Title: Workday Data Conversion Lead Location: Remote 100% Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 8+ Years Summary: We are looking for an experienced Workday Data Conversion Lead to manage and execute data conversion activities during the implementation and deployment of Workday modules. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on Workday expertise, advanced data migration knowledge, and strong customer-focused leadership to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data migration processes. Key Responsibilities: • Workday Expertise: • Apply 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience in senior data conversion roles for implementation/deployments. • Leverage Workday partner certification in Data Conversion to maintain and expand skills. • Data Conversion Leadership: • Lead discussions on data conversion strategies from systems like Oracle, PeopleSoft, AS400, and SAP. • Facilitate client discussions during deployment projects to define requirements, validation methodology, and conversion processes. • Manage global teams across multiple time zones for large-scale Workday deployments. • Technical Skills: • Utilize ETL processes and Workday tools (iLoads, XML, Web Services, EIBs) for data migration. • Map data requirements to Workday structures and create custom reports for data validation. • Employ advanced MS Excel skills and software tools like Notepad++, Oxygen XML, or ASAP Utilities. • Collaboration & Problem Solving: • Partner with customer teams and third-party vendors to resolve data conversion-related issues. • Research and address data reporting issues, ensuring data integrity and efficient processes. • Facilitate data conversion testing and validation activities with stakeholders. • Customer Focus: • Maintain strong client relationships by effectively managing expectations and delivering customer satisfaction. • Attend meetings across global time zones to coordinate with customer teams and leads. • Internal Collaboration: • Work with product teams to leverage automation tools and accelerators for efficient data conversion. Required Skills and Experience: • 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience in data conversion for implementations. • Workday partner certification in Data Conversion. • Proficiency in ETL processes and data migration strategies. • Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with XML-based tools. • Knowledge of Workday methodology and tenant build stages. • Experience managing global teams and collaborating across time zones.
