Job title: High school Math Tutor Company: Tutor Doctor Pearland Job description : Currently seeking Math and Science tutors for In-home tutoring in Friendswood, League City, Pearland, and Texas City areas We are currently seeking part-time instructors, teachers and tutors for Math and Science subjects. High school subject level teaching abilities required; including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, pre-AP and AP subjects and also SAT/ACT prep. The ideal math teacher for this job is highly skilled in teaching mathematics concepts and processes, study skills, and other content relevant to all high school levels. Our tutors are: Certified teachers for Middle School to High School Teacher aides and/or paraprofessionals with classroom experience Special Education teachers Substitute Teachers Subject matter experts with tutoring experience Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred Teacher's certification preferred Understanding local curriculum (preferred but not required) Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes to student location Minimum of 1 year of experience in teaching and/or tutoring Be able to create tutoring session plans Strong typing, PC, and recording skills Having reliable transportation is a must Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone Flexible hours* We bring you the students Must be dependable and well organized.
