Role Overview:As a Node.js/TypeScript Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building world-class backend systems and driving the development of scalable, reliable infrastructure that supports mission-critical financial services. You will work closely with product, design, and operations teams to deliver thoughtful, elegant, and impactful software solutions.
Responsibilities:● Develop new features across the stack with a strong bias toward customer impact and speed. ● Build and improve scalable, reliable backend systems with a focus on performance and modularity. ● Rapidly prototype and test new product ideas, AI capabilities, and customer-facing tools. ● Set engineering best practices across architecture, code quality, and tooling. ● Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions. ● Identify and deploy AI-native tools (e.g., LLMs, copilots, automation) that increase developer productivity and product impact.
Requirements
● Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. ● 5+ years of experience with Node.js/Express.js. ● Experience with modern AI-enhanced development tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot) and excitement about their future. ● Passion for speed — you move fast, build quickly, and love tough technical challenges. ● Strong product mindset — you think in terms of UX, not just endpoints. ● Autonomous but collaborative — you can self-direct but love working with smart people.
Bonus Points:● Experience working in fintech, credit, or payments infrastructure. ● Exposure to ML/AI systems and data pipelines.
