Position Summary The Inventory Deployment Analyst position serves as an integral team member on the Inventory planning team. This role will assist in the creation and be responsible for the execution of the inventory strategies for the Retail channel. Responsibility continues right through to the In-Season execution of allocation. The Inventory Analyst will continuously analyze data, correlating historical and current trends, as well as provide regular communication and visibility of risks and opportunity. Working concurrently across multiple seasons (up to 18 months ahead), they are optimizing inventory/availability in conjunction with plans/forecasts to drive mutually beneficial improvements to our financial results and consumer experience. Associate Responsibilities

  • Maintain Product availability through adjusting replenishment levels to drive optimal in store experience whilst minimizing markdown and obsolescence
  • Assist in the creation of the seasonal and annual inventory strategies. Ensure strategies developed are within financial targets.
  • Understand inventory health as related to current sales trend and future need by utilizing visual minimums and inventory depth to support ongoing planning/allocation activities
  • Analyze ‘In-Season’ performance through the ‘Monthly Business Review’ (MBR) process to provide a robust understanding of past performance and go forward forecast to ensure inventory strategies will continue to support the business trends.
  • Establish projected closeout liability and financial risk associated with unproductive/seasonal inventory. Execute markdowns and potential transfers/returns to create recommendations for exit strategies.
  • Prepare hindsight analysis to identify opportunities for future plans and strategies partnering with Merchandiser(s) to disseminate key takeaways
  • Establish cross-functional relationships to promote best practices and process adherence; fosters collaboration and teamwork.
  • Participate and support additional projects as directed by Merchandise Planning Leadership, looking to improve reporting, process, and consumer experience.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a planning or forecasting field
  • Analytical thinker with an aptitude for Retail math and forecasting methodology
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels including management and external partners
  • Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring strong organizational skills to effectively prioritize workload, juggling multiple concurrent projects and deliverables
  • Self-motivated, passionate and enthusiastic individual ready to bring energy and excitement to lead their business
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office and Planning tools) are needed, with advanced Excel capability

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment; cubicle/office setting.
  • Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer.
  • Travel required, may be up to 10% of time.
  • This position has a Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events.
