Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer (Requisition ID: SK-001)

Zealth, Inc., d.b.a. Notable Health in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Software Engineer to research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs

Job responsibilities and duties include

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. 

• Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.

• May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop specifications and performance requirements. 

• May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. 

• Responsible for problem-solving, coding, and debugging.

• Work on modern web application development

• Solve complex problems by breaking them up into simpler discrete problems and implement them across multiple services 

• Write maintainable, well-tested, reliable code

• Work closely with our data science team to deploy ML & NLP algorithms to production

• Engineer scalable services while maintaining low latency

This position does not supervise the work of others.

Minimum requirements

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related field of study plus at least six (6) months of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. 

In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related field of study plus at least one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. 

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following: 

-   TypeScript

-   React

-   Nodejs

-   PostgreSQL

-   Python

No travel. Work from Home Benefit available, hybrid work schedule 2- 3 days in office.
