Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to support the analysis, integration, and optimization of our client's back-office systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.

• Conduct system integration analysis and develop comprehensive source-to-target data mappings.

• Understand and document data lineage, transformations, and flows across systems.

• Write advanced SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.

• Interpret and work with data models, ERDs, and UML diagrams.

• Design logical and physical data models when necessary.

• Define and support ETL processes using tools such as Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, SSIS, or DataStage.

• Work on API integration design and documentation (REST/SOAP), including payload structures and integration flows.

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, system diagrams, and data flow specifications.

• Understand enterprise system architecture, including front-end, back-end, middleware, microservices, and integration layers.

• Provide support for testing activities, including writing SQL-based test scripts.

• Optionally contribute to test automation efforts using available tools or frameworks.

• Engage with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing and storage (nice to have).

• Effectively communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role involving data-heavy systems and integrations.

• Strong SQL and database knowledge (relational and non-relational).

• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration concepts.

• Solid understanding of system architecture and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Experience with API integration and technical specification development.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with test automation tools or frameworks.
