Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

  • Be part of our CSE Team @ at our customer site.
  • Installation and start-up of new equipment or upgrades based at customer sites
  • Servicing of existing equipment and trouble shooting.
  • Follow and work according to documented 'Best Known' methods.
  • Collaborating closely with the technical support team at Head Quarter to resolve issues.
  • Documentation of the work performed.
  • Taking ownership of and leading projects at the customer sites.
  • Loyal appearance of the company towards the customer.
  • The Position is based at the area Reutlingen/ Germany with occasional travel by company car within Germany and minor travel across Europe.

Working hours from Monday to Friday in dayshift, no shift work, no weekend work and no on-call duty.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, technician's degree or apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician
  • Experience in the fields of vacuum technology, process measurement and control technology, robotics or plasma technology.
  • Very good communication skills in English, in German is a plus (in writing and speaking).
  • A valid driver's license for Germany
