Junior Creative (Video Emphasis) (Virtual, Full-time)

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and driven Junior Creative to join our team. Job Summary: The Junior Creative develops designs for various projects under the guidance of the Creative Director. They work from established templates or produce original drafts to create final design solutions. The Junior Creative will participate in design projects with creativity and attention to detail. They will help ensure adherence to all aspects of corporate brand guidelines, brand positioning efforts, and industry best practices. They will incorporate feedback to improve designs and contribute to the successful launch of initiatives. The Junior Creative will support initiatives within the marketing department and communication and resource development objectives across the organization. They will work collaboratively in a creative environment while being self-directed in a remote work setting. Potential candidates should be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Media Encoder, and After Effects and have some experience creating video assets for social media. As a Junior Creative, you’ll be responsible for the following

• Maintain WealthCounsel brand standards across various channels
• Design materials, including but not limited to video and motion graphics
• Assist in the ideation and production of video assets optimized for use on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms as needed
• Assist in post-production editing of video assets and webinars
• Utilize video editing software to assemble footage, add effects, and create a finished product
• Work collaboratively with other members of the Marketing team, as well as across departments, to develop materials to promote WealthCounsel products and inform, educate, and communicate with customers
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Competencies needed:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Media Encoder, and After Effects
• Strong knowledge of visual design principles
• Attention to detail
• Ability to develop design drafts from written creative briefs
• Ability to work with key stakeholders as needed
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong presentation and communication skills

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree OR
• 1+ years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
• Portfolio samples that demonstrate design abilities and brand understanding

Salary: The salary range listed reflects the total on target earnings for this position (base salary plus bonus).
