Full Stack Developer

Role: Full Stack Developer Hours: 8am - 5pm Mountain Standard Time Hourly Wage: $10 - $15 Lago is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Stack Developer with demonstrated expertise in both WordPress and Shopify platforms. This position requires a deep understanding of front-end and back-end development practices, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to deliver high-performance, scalable digital solutions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional setting and is passionate about building elegant and efficient web experiences that drive business value.

• Design, develop, and maintain custom websites and e-commerce solutions using WordPress and Shopify
• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.)
• Customize and extend functionality through theme development, plugin customization (WordPress), and app integration (Shopify)
• Develop server-side logic and APIs to support dynamic functionality and data management
• Ensure website and application performance, security, and SEO best practices
• Conduct regular code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and operations, to understand requirements and deliver a solution
• Stay informed on evolving technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve development workflows and product outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Hands-on experience with WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, PHP, MySQL)
• Proven experience with Shopify and Shopify Liquid templating, as well as app integrations and store customizations
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries such as jQuery
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, AJAX, and cross-platform integrations
• Experience working with page speed optimization tools and strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote team environment
