Remote Customer Support Specialist - Marketplace (Texas, Arizona, or Nevada)

As a key member of our team, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional support and resolving issues via email, phone, and other channels. This is a fully remote position, and we're looking for candidates who reside in Texas, Arizona, or Nevada. As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling incoming customer inquiries and issues related to Internet Marketplace Customer Service via email, phone, and other channels
  • Providing empathetic and professional support to customers, focusing on resolving issues on the first attempt
  • Preventing customer returns and ensuring customer retention through reasonable negotiations and providing solutions that benefit both the company and the customer
  • Partnering with management to escalate customer and product issues, identifying trends, and communicating them to management in measurable terms
  • Providing proactive and consistent follow-up to customer inquiries, responding to every customer email, and documenting a complete summary of customer interactions
  • Maintaining high standards of quality service, demonstrating improvements when necessary, and adhering to company QA programs

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service, administrative, or retail experience (call center experience a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Computer literate with ability to navigate programs and windows
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills
  • Able to multi-task, problem-solve, and perform with a low error rate
  • Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays, with regular job attendance required

Internet Connectivity Guidelines

  • Maintain a dedicated business-class internet connection that meets company requirements
  • Provide and maintain high-speed internet with speeds of at least 15 Mbps down/5 Mbps up
  • Set up cable modem in bridge mode, disable Wi-Fi, firewall, and ALG from dedicated business-class internet connection
