Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment in compliance with state, federal, and Department of Transportation regulations
• Operate dock tools to ensure freight is loaded securely and properly
• Load, recoup, rewrap, and stack freight as needed
• Verify shipments by reading labels and correctly securing freight for both loading and unloading trailers
• Follow established bill and quality control procedures to ensure timely, claims-free, and cost-efficient shipments
• Log, report, and process any shortages and damages to freight
• Promote and maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Warehouse, freight, dock, forklift, or pallet jack experience (preferred)
