Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and charismatic Group Fitness Trainer/Dancer to join our team at AKT West U in Houston, TX. As a trainer, you will lead high-energy classes, inspire our clients, and contribute to a supportive and fun environment. If you have a passion for fitness, dance, and teaching, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead group fitness classes, including HIIT, strength interval training, dance, barre/toning, and Pilates methods
• Provide modifications and progressions to ensure a safe and effective workout for clients of all levels
• Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment and assist with class setup
• Build class attendance and retain current clientele through professional interaction and exceptional customer service
• Support studio growth by promoting retail, studio events, and classes
• Collaborate with the front desk and General Manager to ensure a seamless client experience

Requirements:

• Professional dance or fitness experience and a passion for boutique fitness
• Experience teaching group classes and demonstrating effective group class instruction
• Charismatic, tenacious, positive, and motivational teaching style
• Punctual, reliable, and dedicated with a strong work ethic
• Fitness certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Current (or willingness to obtain) valid CPR/AED certification
