Part-time Professional Tutor - Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Remote

Job Summary:

Penn State Hazleton is seeking a part-time Professional Tutor for the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. As a Professional Tutor, you will provide individualized and small group tutoring sessions to undergraduate students on an as-needed basis, covering all aspects of PTA coursework, anatomy, and physiology. You will play a vital role in helping students develop effective study and learning strategies, becoming successful and independent graduates.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide individualized and small group tutoring sessions to undergraduate students in the PTA program (up to 10 hours per week) * Cover all aspects of PTA coursework, anatomy, and physiology * Integrate effective study and learning strategies into tutoring sessions * Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment * Adhere to Penn State's Academic Integrity policy and act with professionalism and respect

Requirements:

* Appropriate credentials in the Physical Therapist Assistant field * Experience in teaching or tutoring in higher education * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a diverse university community
