UX Director of Design Operations

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX Director of Design Operations to lead our emerging UX DesignOps team and drive the success of our digital experience.

As a core member of our team, you will leverage your leadership and program management skills to support and develop best practices for our UX team, ensuring we deliver exceptional results and create impactful solutions that serve all aspects of our business. You will be responsible for setting the foundation, strategy, and operational direction for our UX team, fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusion, and driving business value and impact through design.

About the Role

• Lead a team of design program managers responsible for organizing and optimizing people, processes, and practices to improve UX in the Target company
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business value and impact through design
• Build strong relationships and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, technology, and business managers
• Identify and solve problems that may prevent the team from achieving its strategic, business, or financial goals
• Communicate effectively with various levels of leadership to define approach and implementation of key programs and initiatives

About You

• 3+ years of design program management and operational experience in in-house or corporate product development teams
• 3+ years of people management experience with a proven track record of recruiting, leading, and training high-level, regional, or remote teams
• Experience working in a complex, matrix, global, or multinational environment
• Strong communication skills, articulating feelings and supporting decisions with knowledge, logic, and data
• Demonstrated track record of using strategic planning to solve complex problems and strong collaboration skills to engage partners in the process
