We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Amazon Operations Specialist to join our team in Houston. As an Amazon Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of inventory, managing waste, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all ORMD spill-related activities, including clean-up, inventory reconciliation, and waste management
  • Conduct research, audits, and cycle counts to identify trends and reduce inventory losses
  • Develop and implement data collection processes and data management systems to track inventory and waste management metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including local leadership and retail teams, to present data and drive process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with RCRA, DOT, and OSHA regulations, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of inventory control and systems in an automated Fulfillment Center
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and with multiple teams
  • Detail-oriented, with a drive to solve problems and demonstrate integrity and confidentiality
  • Technical skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with an understanding of Lean principles and regulatory requirements (DOT, RCRA, and OSHA)
