Store Manager - Walmart Retail Operations (Experienced Role)

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of department managers and associates to meet and exceed business objectives.

Drive store sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction through effective merchandising, inventory control, and workforce management.

Execute Walmarts operational strategies and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Monitor and analyze store performance metrics; implement corrective actions where necessary to improve results.

Maintain high standards for store cleanliness, safety, and visual presentation.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and associate concerns; resolve issues professionally and promptly.

Forecast staffing needs, recruit, and onboard new employees.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage a large team and multi-department retail environment.

Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.

Financial acumen with experience managing P&L statements and achieving performance targets.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management systems.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in retail management, preferably in a big-box or high-volume retail setting.

Prior experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager, or equivalent leadership role is highly desirable.

Full-time position with flexible availability required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
