Job Description

Talent Groups is seeking a Support Engineer to join our growing Healthcare Technology Support team in St. Louis, MO, providing 3rd shift support for clients across the USA, Ireland, and Australia. This is a customer-facing, first-line support role, ideal for someone passionate about delivering exceptional service, resolving complex technical issues, and supporting mission-critical technologies used in hospital environments.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting applications in healthcare or hospital systems and possess a solid understanding of hospital workflows, system integrations (HL7), and user support needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical or application support, ideally in a SaaS or healthcare environment
  • Previous experience supporting hospital or clinical systems
  • Knowledge of HL7 standards, integration engines (e.g., Mirth), or electronic health record (EHR) platforms is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with experience testing and validating solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft technologies: MSSQL, Web Applications, Windows Server, and Azure infrastructure
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell)
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including VLAN, DHCP, and DNS
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog) and Mobile Device Management platforms (e.g., Airwatch) is a plus
  • Exposure to AV/IPTV systems in a healthcare environment is beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness and ability to work an overnight (3rd shift) schedule
