SAP Basis & Security Lead – Design and drive the architecture, performance, and maintenance of the complete SAP environment end-to-end; Designing and manage development of SAP system architectures, system level planning roadmaps, scope, and defining key capabilities and performance requirements; Serve as primary architectural contact on SAP-specific projects; Lead and coordinate the domain technical and business discussions; Analyze, design, and develop roadmaps and implementation plans; Ensure compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, services, and requirements; Investigate and recommend new SAP components, solutions, releases, or upgrades; Analyze business processes and recommend appropriate solutions; Oversee the implementation of SAP-related solutions, identifying resources and developing timelines; Ensure the conceptual completeness of the technical solution; Coordinate architecture implementation and modification activities; Assist in post-implementation continuous-improvement efforts to enhance performance and provide increased functionality; Lead a team in design and the development of best practices; Collect and develop requirements for SAP Cloud migration; Define overall strategy for on premise and cloud options and strategy; Define requirements, service levels, and statements of works for cloud transition; Analyze the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements; Perform ongoing architecture review activities; Provide support for go-live and post deployment of projects; Develop technical specification and documentation, as needed for audit purposes; Implement best in class code review practice; Develop and foster collaborative working relationships; Own relationships with key SAP partners; Oversee the change management and release processes for SAP environment; Define and drive SAP ERP software update and disaster recovery processes; Drive the evaluation of new ERP related functionality or software; Closely engage with functional and business teams to develop ERP strategic roadmap; Effectively communicate risks, issues and alternative options; Take initiative to identify and achieve valued-added results and improve upon solutions offered. Salary: $144,144/year.

Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or working with SAP. Special skills - Experience designing and driving the architecture, performance, and maintenance of the complete SAP environment end-to-end; Application support and/or outsourced vendor management; Vendor performance management and relationship management with large organizations and senior stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted. May reside anywhere in the U.S.
