Recruiting Coordinator

Remote · USA Full-time New today

Meter is at its most exciting stage yet– we’re scaling quickly and building faster than ever. As our Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering a candidate experience that feels clear, personal, and seamless. You’ll make sure every candidate leaves thinking, “I want to work here.”

Why this role matters

At Meter, we believe the team you build is the company you build. Hiring is one of the most important things we do, because the people we bring in shape everything that follows. We’re building networks that ambitious companies like Bridgewater, Lyft, and Reddit rely on every day. This role is pivotal to that effort: you’ll keep our hiring process running smoothly, make candidates feel cared for, and free up recruiters and hiring managers to focus on finding great talent.

What you'll work on

  • Independently schedule interviews, coordinate candidate travel, and manage logistics across teams and time zones – taking the calendar wrangling off recruiters’ plates and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

  • Own Ashby day to day, keeping candidate records, interview feedback, and dashboards consistently clean, accurate, and ready for the team.

  • Contribute to projects that improve how we hire – from streamlining scheduling workflows to refining candidate communications.

  • Shape the candidate experience from start to finish by coordinating interviews, welcoming candidates onsite, and sending thoughtful follow-ups that leave a lasting impression.

  • As you grow, expand into projects like improving onboarding logistics, supporting employer branding efforts, and helping strengthen people ops systems, building on your foundation in recruiting coordination.

What success looks like

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Own high-volume scheduling and candidate logistics across multiple teams and time zones, ensuring a smooth, accurate, and reliable process.

  • Become the Ashby super-user on the team – owning our implementation, keeping data and workflows airtight, and surfacing insights that help recruiters and managers make better decisions.

  • Build trusted relationships with recruiters and hiring managers by anticipating needs, resolving obstacles quickly, and keeping the process moving without friction.

  • Deliver a candidate experience where feedback consistently highlights respect, care, and excitement about Meter.

  • Identify and implement at least one improvement that makes coordination faster, simpler, or more effective for candidates and the team.

Within 6-12 months, you will:

  • Own recruiting operations end-to-end, from interview logistics to ATS data to process design and optimization.

  • Drive measurable efficiency gains, reducing time to schedule, improving candidate response times, and increasing interviewer preparedness.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on candidate experience, surfacing feedback trends and shaping how Meter shows up to talent.

  • Lead cross-functional projects in onboarding or people ops, extending your impact beyond recruiting into broader company operations.

Who you are

  • You notice details others miss – a double-booked calendar, a missing Zoom link, a typo in a candidate email.

  • You care deeply about candidate experience and make communication clear, timely, and human.

  • You bring urgency and ownership, knowing that the way we run the process shapes how candidates experience Meter.

  • You’re eager to grow in recruiting and people ops, and you pick up new tools and processes quickly.

  • You want to own and improve systems, not just use them.

Compensation

  • The estimated pay range for this role is $35 - $40 an hour.

  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.
