About the team

The Rewards team is at the forefront of revolutionizing how financial incentives are calculated, distributed and automated in the blockchain space. We're tackling complex challenges in attribution logic, invoice automation, and rewards distribution across multiple chains and assets. Our work directly impacts Paxos' ability to scale its reward systems efficiently while maintaining absolute accuracy and compliance.

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Rewards team, you'll drive the development of our next-generation rewards and billing automation platform. You'll own critical initiatives from invoice automation for USDG to expanding our attribution system across new chains and assets. This role offers unique opportunities to work with cutting-edge blockchain technology while solving complex financial automation challenges that directly impact Paxos' growth and efficiency.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement automated invoice generation systems for USDG and other Paxos products
• Build and scale attribution logic systems to support multiple chains and assets
• Develop robust reporting capabilities for rewards and billing analytics
• Create efficient automation workflows for reward calculations and distribution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate billing and rewards systems
• Architect solutions that handle high throughput while maintaining low latency
• Lead technical initiatives to reduce manual operations and improve system reliability

About you

• 5+ years of experience building scalable backend systems
• Strong track record of delivering solutions with high throughput and low latency requirements
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve how you work
• Proven ability to design and implement complex financial or billing systems
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of database design and optimization
• Background in fintech, blockchain, or financial services is a plus
• Track record of mentoring other engineers and driving technical initiatives
