Items Analyst - Early Career

The Items Analyst will support global military operations by managing supply chain performance, ensuring material availability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure material availability in support of aircraft maintenance and operations
  • Analyze supply and demand data to identify trends, forecast requirements, and mitigate potential shortages or excesses
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including procurement, logistics, engineering, and operations—to resolve supply chain constraints and support mission readiness
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve fleet availability
  • Track material flow, delivery timelines, and performance metrics to support timely execution of logistics plans
  • Leverage data analytics and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations
  • Support the implementation of innovative technologies and tools that enhance supply planning and inventory visibility
  • Contribute to the development of process documentation, training materials, and reporting tools to support operational excellence

Skills

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Excel utilizing pivot tables and other Excel related functions
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • This position will require a government security clearance
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and an ability to think critically in a high tempo customer-centered environment
  • Experience with data tools or programming languages such as Tableau, SQL, Python, etc., including applied knowledge of MS Excel and data analytical skills and proven and demonstrated functionality
  • Experience with stakeholder/customer relationship management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders
