The Opportunity: eCapital is seeking a Principal Product Manager to drive the success of our fintech products through deep customer insight, data-driven decisions, and hands-on execution. This role is designed for a builder, someone who thrives at the intersection of business, technology, and customer experience. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, delivery, and operations to define, develop, and launch features and products that create measurable business and customer value. We hold ourselves to an exceptionally high standard, driven by our relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation. Joining our team means becoming part of a culture that values audacious goals, challenges conventional thinking, and consistently pushes the boundaries of what’s possible. As a Principal Product Manager, you’ll own the roadmap and execution for one or more product areas, ensuring initiatives align with business goals, deliver customer impact, and scale effectively across our platform. Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and deliver the product roadmap for your area, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and strategic priorities.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, using data, feedback, and market research to identify opportunities, prioritize features, and define success metrics.
  • Translate complex business problems into clear, actionable product requirements (PR/FAQs, user stories, acceptance criteria).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, delivery, design, and operations to deliver high-quality features on time and within scope.
  • Drive execution from concept to launch, including stakeholder alignment, sprint planning, release readiness, and post-launch analysis.
  • Measure performance through usage data, feedback loops, and key performance indicators to guide continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate clear communication, documenting and presenting updates to stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Contribute to process improvement, refining how the product team plans, delivers, and measures success.
  • Champion eCapital’s leadership principles, earning trust, thinking big, delivering results, and maintaining a bias for action.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or financial services.
  • Proven ability to deliver customer-facing products or platform capabilities from concept to launch.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, SaaS architectures, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills — able to translate between technical and business audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities, manage ambiguity, and make data-informed trade-offs.
  • Experience working in an agile or iterative development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in lending technology, embedded finance, or payment systems.
  • Experience with data analytics, AI/ML features, or automation-driven products.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance, or underwriting workflows.
  • Track record of improving customer satisfaction, efficiency, or adoption metrics.
