Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist II, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and the Animal Services - Pet Services team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advanced clerical support, including operation of a personal computer and public contact work
  • Delivering professional and courteous responses to customer inquiries regarding various County operations
  • Performing customer service functions in support of the Animal Services - Pet Services team
  • Answering telephone calls, typing letters and reports, maintaining records, and performing data entry
  • Utilizing software applications to retrieve and enter data
  • Performing other clerical functions, such as processing mail, filing, and scanning

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one (1) year of experience in customer service duties involving frequent public contact
  • Proficient in operating a personal computer and related software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain records, prepare reports, and understand oral and written instructions
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Valid Florida driver's license required
