Job Summary

As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Using empathy and excellent communication skills to help patients and their families understand complex medical bills and resolve account balances.
  • Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with patients to find affordable payment plans and take payments by phone.
  • Accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day.
  • Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus.
  • Continuously improving your skills and knowledge with supportive coaching and feedback from your manager and team leads.

What You'll Need

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families.
  • Proficiency in computer software systems, including CRM and billing systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is preferred.

* A competitive base annual pay ranging from $37,440 to $43,680, based on prior experience.

  • Monthly performance bonuses ranging from $100 to $400.
