Job Summary
As a 3rd Shift Custodian at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools. You'll work closely with our facilities team to ensure that our buildings are safe, clean, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our schools, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and floor buffers
- Restock supplies and materials as needed
- Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure that our buildings are safe and well-maintained
- Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in custodial work or a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Valid driver's license (if applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a school or educational setting
- Certification in custodial work or a related field
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Skills and Competencies
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
