Insurance Coverage Attorney-Remote
A dynamic and leading law firm known for its excellence and innovation in legal services, is seeking a New York admitted attorney with 5+ years of experience handling insurance coverage litigation, to join its insurance coverage group. The attorney will be handling declaratory judgment actions and drafting coverage opinions and position letters. Strong legal writing and research skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement demands
- Represent clients at depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings
- Maintain communication with clients regarding case progress and strategy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience handling insurance coverage litigation
- Relevant litigation experience handling insurance coverage litigation
Responsibilities
- Familiarity with Insurance Defense is preferred
- Manage own caseload and work collaboratively to develop litigation strategy
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Attend depositions and court appearances
- Perform legal research, strong writing skills
