Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for entering, verifying, and maintaining critical data within our logistics management system. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of our operations, the quality of our reporting, and the overall satisfaction of our customers. If you possess a keen eye for detail, a fast and accurate typing ability, and a desire to support a dynamic logistics environment, we invite you to join arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input shipment, inventory, and customer data into the arenaflex logistics management platform, ensuring each entry meets strict quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough verification of data for completeness, consistency, and correctness before final submission.
  • Perform routine updates and maintenance of the master database, including adding new records, archiving obsolete information, and correcting discrepancies.
  • Generate and assist in preparing regular operational reports, dashboards, and data summaries for internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and IT teams to resolve data‑related issues and to streamline data flow across departments.
  • Identify, document, and correct data entry errors promptly, escalating any systemic problems to the appropriate supervisors.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols for all proprietary and customer data in accordance with arenaflex’s data protection policies.
  • Participate in periodic audits and data quality initiatives, contributing ideas for process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Provide support during peak periods, including overtime work and rapid data processing, to meet heightened operational demands.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certifications in data management, information systems, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a data entry or similar role, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or transportation environments.
  • Exceptional typing speed (≥70 WPM) with a high degree of accuracy (error rate ≤1%).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail while handling large volumes of information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation) and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interaction with cross‑functional teams.
  • Self‑motivated mindset with the capacity to work independently and as a collaborative team member.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Familiarity with logistics or supply‑chain management software (e.g., TMS, WMS, or ERP platforms) is a distinct plus.
  • Experience with data cleaning tools, basic scripting (e.g., VBA, Python), or automation utilities to enhance data entry efficiency.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for handling sensitive information.
  • Previous involvement in process improvement projects, such as Lean or Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new software interfaces and evolving business processes.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Accuracy & Precision: A relentless commitment to error‑free data handling.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for data enhancement.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manage workload to meet deadlines, especially during high‑volume periods.
  • Team Collaboration: Work constructively with colleagues across operations, IT, and customer service to achieve shared goals.
