Serve as a primary point of contact for individuals seeking assistance with Social Security benefits and provide guidance and advocacy throughout the process. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and eligibility for Social Security benefits, including researching and interpreting complex regulations and policies. Develop individualized plans and strategies to assist clients in accessing and maintaining their entitled benefits. Gather and analyze information from various sources to support clients' cases and ensure timely and accurate processing of benefit applications. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Social Security Administration staff, medical providers, and community organizations, to advocate for clients' rights and resolve benefit issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Social Security programs, policies, and procedures to provide accurate and reliable information to clients. Document all interactions and activities with clients in a timely and organized manner. Continuously evaluate and adjust strategies to meet changing client needs and evolving Social Security regulations. Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on Social Security programs and benefits. Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to expand access to Social Security advocacy services. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement best practices for Social Security advocacy services. Participate in meetings, trainings, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills related to Social Security programs and advocacy. Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive client information. Advocate for systemic changes and reforms to improve the Social Security system and better serve vulnerable populations. Serve as a compassionate and knowledgeable resource for clients, providing support and guidance throughout their interactions with the Social Security system.
