Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Healthcare & Life Sciences Solutions Architect to join their HCLS organization. In this role, you will design cloud architectures for global healthcare and life sciences customers, helping them adopt AWS services and address industry-specific challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform for HCLS customers
  • In partnership with the account management team, formulate and execute a customer engagement strategy
  • Build prototypes, proofs of concept, and demonstration assets that showcase AWS capabilities — particularly in AI/ML, Generative AI, and data analytics — tailored to healthcare and life sciences use cases
  • Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
  • Stay current on emerging AI/ML technologies and cloud-native patterns, and translate that knowledge into actionable guidance and reference architectures for HCLS customers
  • Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community
  • Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and reference architectures
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support

Skills

  • 3+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
