[Remote] Senior Executive Recruiter

MissionHires is a staffing organization seeking a Senior Executive Recruiter to launch and scale a Direct Hire & Executive Search practice. The role offers significant autonomy and involves building client relationships, managing the recruitment lifecycle, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a Direct Hire & Executive Search practice from the ground up
- Develop new client relationships and drive net-new business acquisition
- Expand services and revenue within existing client accounts
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through placement
- Source, assess, qualify, and present candidates; manage interviews and pipelines
- Negotiate offers, close placements, and ensure successful onboarding
- Create and refine recruiting workflows, processes, and best practices
- Maintain robust client and candidate pipelines to drive consistent revenue
- Partner with executive leadership on practice strategy, planning, and growth initiatives
- Lay the foundation for future team expansion and scalable operations
- Track KPIs, billings, and profitability; report progress to leadership
Skills
- 5+ years of direct hire recruiting experience within an agency environment
- Proven full-desk (360) recruiting experience with ownership from sales to placement
- Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, and account growth
- Consistent, quantifiable production history; able to clearly communicate annual billings
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to create opportunities from scratch
- Excellent negotiation, closing, and relationship management skills
- High energy, competitive, self-driven, and accountable; comfortable with autonomy
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building a practice and long-term value
- Clear, professional communication and executive presence
- Ability to work independently with minimal structure; willingness to do early-stage build work
- Experience recruiting in manufacturing, automotive, light industrial, skilled trades, logistics, or related operational markets
- Recognition such as President's Club, Top Producer, or Circle of Excellence
- Location: Detroit Metro preferred; strong Eastern/Central time zone remote candidates considered
