[Remote] Director of Business Development

They are seeking a Director of Business Development to drive sales growth by sourcing new opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Re-establish and expand the growth potential for dormant and existing customers
- Understand customer needs and requirements to match them to the appropriate product in our expanding portfolio
- Work closely with management, internal team members, external sales, and service teams to generate high customer satisfaction
- Maintain relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance
- Research and provide recommendations on new solutions
- Recommend profit and service improvements
- Provide quotes for customers
- Review sales orders for accuracy
- Enter all new registrations into CRM along with associated opportunity
- Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts, data gathering, and reports for daily use of CRM on all contacts, accounts, and opportunities
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
- Participating in trade shows to expand territory networking and growth potential
Skills
- Bachelor's degree – Business or Marketing/Sales
- Associates degree considered with 5 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Sales experience dealing with a technical product line – preferably within cellular data communications
- Independent achiever with history of achieving and exceeding sales goals
- Strong technical product background/aptitude in IP Networking and Public Wireless Data Technologies
- Must be product certified with demonstrable expertise
- Proven success in the sales field working with OEM's
- Skilled in developing and maintaining client relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be organized and able to manage time effectively
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adhere to established deadlines, and perform under pressure
- PC and basic networking skills required with strong knowledge of using a CRM and Microsoft 365
- Proven ability to work as part of a team to achieve goals
- Maintain a high level of integrity, quality work standards, and service excellence
