BRMi is seeking a Training Specialist to support a Human Risk Management program focused on improving cybersecurity awareness and reducing employee-driven security risks. The role involves assessing existing training content, developing engaging learning experiences, and measuring training effectiveness through data-driven analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate existing security awareness and training content
  • Audit vendor-provided materials and map content to target audiences and business objectives
  • Identify gaps in current learning programs and recommend improvements
  • Align training initiatives with organizational risk management goals and desired employee behaviors
  • Develop comprehensive training roadmaps and implementation plans
  • Create engaging training modules, simulations, and learning materials
  • Apply adult learning principles and behavior change methodologies to course design
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training content supports business and security objectives
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs across multiple audiences
  • Facilitate workshops, presentations, and virtual learning sessions
  • Manage training schedules, communications, and participant engagement activities
  • Support rollout logistics and stakeholder coordination throughout implementation
  • Establish baseline metrics and success criteria for training initiatives
  • Design and administer surveys, assessments, and feedback mechanisms
  • Analyze results to measure behavior change, engagement, and program effectiveness
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on data and performance outcomes
  • Track trends and report on training impact to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Factors, Communications, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience developing and delivering training programs
  • Experience in cybersecurity awareness, human risk management, behavior change, or security culture initiatives
  • Strong background in instructional design and adult learning methodologies
  • Experience creating learning content using modern training development tools
  • Ability to align training programs with business objectives and measurable outcomes
  • Experience designing surveys, assessments, and program effectiveness measurements
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity awareness programs
  • Knowledge of human risk management frameworks and security behavior principles
  • Familiarity with phishing simulations, security culture assessments, and behavior analytics
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Certifications such as CPTD, ATD, CISSP, Security+, or related credentials
  • Experience working with third-party training vendors and content providers
